East Nantmeal Residence

Project Overview

The wide-open yet secluded site encouraged a plan with easy access to the grounds from nearly every corner of the first floor. A low profile design met the clients’ wish for stylistic informality and their desire to not overshadow the natural features of the site.

The exterior is a traditional combination of stone and stucco with shingle and metal roofs that reach down to the first floor eave in many places. The use of site-harvested stone and custom millwork crafted by the builder gives the house a connection to its exact place unique to it and its occupants.

6,500 square feet.
